Have you ever wondered what's invovled with making the Poe book series tap handles? Its quite a process and involves a lot of hand-crafted artistry. There were 3 initial concepts for the tap handle (first 3 images below). After carefull consideration, we chose the "book" concept for our tap handles. They are very distinct (and costly) but but right in line with our Poe themes.
The Poe head mold was made from a wooden hand-carved Poe Head. The "books" were made from 2 x 4s and painted base black. Each head is hand painted and thus, somewhat unique.
Poe book series tap handles can be purchased in our online store in the Breweriana items. Click here.
Below is a series of photos which walks you through the step-by-step process. For best viewing of this gallery, click on the first image to enlarge it, then in the pop up window either start a slide show or click "next".
