Raven was the beer served at the U.S. embassy in
Bonn, Germany at the July 4th celebration ever since
1997. In the previous years, Samuel Adams was the
beer that held that honor.

In September of 1998, The Raven was requested to
be served at the celebration surrounding the commissioning
of the USS Raven, the U.S. Navy's latest ship in
a series of mine sweepers.
