RavenBeer started in Germany by Stephen Demczuk and, the late, Wolfgang Stark. In 1998, Stephen started brewing The Raven Special Lager in Baltimore.
Today, RavenBeer is brewed in Rosedale area of Baltimore County, and, it is still brewed in Europe. RavenBeer produces the Edgar Allan Poe series of beers and the brand names are based after short stories and poems of Baltimore's Edgar Allan Poe.
RavenBeer is distributed in the Mid-Atlantic region and in Chicagoland. RavenBeer focuses on maintaining classical beer styles and primarily German style beers.
